Meet Your Math Tutor

Hi there! My name is Greg Stanton. I provide expert, individualized math tutoring in West Lafayette, Indiana to high school and college students.

I’m a lifelong student of mathematics. I graduated magna cum laude with highest distinction in mathematics from the University of Illinois, as both a Chancellor’s and James scholar. I also completed 35 hours of graduate courses in mathematics (including courses at the University of Illinois, Indiana University, and Purdue University).

After working as a math tutor and teacher in the public and private sectors, I started Higher Math Help in 2009. Additional qualifications and my tutoring philosophy are described on my About page.

How the Tutoring Works

I use a tutoring format that allows students to privately view video recordings of all sessions whenever they like! I began focusing on this format during the fall of 2013, and I now use it exclusively.

Since the tutoring takes place online, students can work with me when they’re away from campus. I’m also able to continue the math tutoring in West Lafayette, Indiana from my new location in Colorado.
